To ensure the highest product quality, we collaborate with the customer and the foundry in all phases of model design and production. We are responsible for the calculations required for the correct realization of the model, for example:
- The enlargement of the model is achieved by applying a scaling factor that varies based on the type of casting we intend to produce and the type of molding system used.
- The application of the necessary draft angles for the removal of the pattern from the sand mold for each casting performed in the foundry.
- Adding excess material for subsequent mechanical processes.
- Creating desired logos and texts on raw castings, seamlessly integrated into the production process.
- Placing the model or multiple models onto the plates designated by the foundry.
- The creation of pouring channels, with dimensions and specifications provided by the foundry for the proper metal delivery to the casting.

Aluminum models and core boxes
Our cast iron models represent the ideal option for applications that require long-term robustness and durability. Models and core boxes in cast iron and steel

Cast iron core boxes are essential for obtaining cores through the “hot” shell molding process, as they can be heated. However, it’s important to note that the lifespan of equipment crafted from resin is shorter compared to that of equipment made from metal. Therefore, resin is typically chosen for projects involving relatively moderate production volumes.
